Mission Statement of A Moment With The Word

The Mission of A Moment With The Word is to proclaim the Word of God  –  and therefore,  Jesus Christ.

It is the desire of AMWTW through the power of the spoken Word, to provide a brief encounter with The Word – The Holy Bible. For those who already believe, we pray that this ministry will further enrich their lives with a deeper appreciation of Scripture and its beauty, truth and grace and inspire them to further study and explore God’s Word. In this way we seek to fulfill The Great Commission of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Mark 16:15 “…Go into the whole world and proclaim the good news to all creation.” We believe that Broadcast Radio and the Internet are best tools available tools for us to do this and reach as many souls as possible with The Word. We do exclude other medium in the future for proclaiming The Word.

A Moment With the Word is Roman Catholic. We stand by the Eternal Truths of the Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church handed down to us by The Apostles and built on the Foundation of The Word revealed in The Holy Bible. 

Finally we believe wholeheartedly and share this advice from Paul’s 2^nd Letter to Timothy:

“ALL SCRIPTURE IS INSPIRED BY GOD AND IS — USEFUL FOR TEACHING – FOR REPROOF, CORRECTION, AND TRAINING IN HOLINESS SO THAT THE MAN OF GOD MAY BE TRULY COMPETENT AND EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK.”   2 Timothy 3: 16-17
